Questions about venues
Have you worked at our venue before?
Quite possibly. After 27 years around Hamilton and Niagara the list is long. Ask when you call and we’ll tell you straight either way. If we haven’t, we’ll walk the room beforehand wherever the venue allows it, which honestly matters more than having played it years ago.
What do you need to know about our venue?
Where the power is relative to the dance floor, what time we can load in, whether there are noise restrictions or a hard end time, and whether the ceremony is in the same room as the reception. We’ll deal directly with your venue coordinator on all of it if that’s easier for you.
Our venue asks vendors for insurance. Can you provide it?
Yes. We’re fully insured and can send the certificate to your venue directly; just pass along their contact.
What if our venue has its own sound system?
We can tie into a house system where it genuinely makes sense, but we bring our own regardless. House systems in older halls are unpredictable and that is not something to discover at 7pm on your wedding day.
