What a DJ
actually costs.
Weddings start at $1,300, all in: consultation, DJ, MC, sound, microphones and travel. No packages you don’t need, no fees invented after you’ve signed.
Questions about price
Why do you publish prices when most DJs don’t?
Because “call for a quote” wastes your time and ours. You have a budget, we have a number, and if they don’t meet you should find that out in ten seconds rather than after two emails and a phone call.
What makes the price go up?
Length of the event, the size and shape of the room, whether you need ceremony sound as well as the reception, uplighting, and how far outside the region the venue is. That’s the whole list; there are no service fees, setup fees or teardown fees hiding underneath it.
Is travel really included?
Within the Golden Horseshoe and Niagara, yes, and it’s built into the price rather than added afterwards. Further out we’ll quote the travel before you book, so it can never turn up as a surprise on the invoice.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes, a deposit confirms and holds your date; the balance is due around the event. We’ll go through the exact terms with you before anything is signed.
Is it cheaper on a Friday or a Sunday?
Off-peak dates are worth asking about, especially outside the May-to-October run. If your date is flexible, say so when you call.

Tell us the date, the venue and roughly how many people. You’ll get a straight price, not a brochure.
